the origin of the term dangdut

The mention of the name "dangdut" is an onomatopoeic sound of tabla games (in the world of drum called dangdut only) Indian music. Putu Wijaya first mention in Tempo, May 27, 1972 that the song Dolls of India is a mixture of Malay songs, the rhythm of the desert, and "ding-dang-dut" of India. This title is further summarized into a "dangdut" alone, and by the magazine used to refer to the form of Malay songs that are affected by the Indian song.
